HEALTH DISSERTATION

A health dissertation usually reflects a significant academic undertaking that incorporates a health related formal research effort that must be performed in accordance and sanctioned by your university or regional Board of Ethics.

In order to achieve the designation PhD, your health dissertation effort may take upwards of five years to complete. Ideally, based on the literature review you conduct, you should arrive at a conclusion of what is lacking related to your topic and then attempt to fill the gap. In other words, your research effort should add new information to the existing or limited body of knowledge demonstrating you have comprehensively researched your topic based on all available printed research and through your own research study. There should be no question left to ask related to your topic once someone reads your health dissertation.

The health dissertation research study is a formal research effort such as you might read in the American Journal of Cardiology, however unlike many published articles, your dissertation requires a strong critical analysis and critical thinking based on what you’ve reviewed the state of the health industry related to your topic and on your own research effort as well.
